About Me
I am an articulate, enthusiastic and team focused individual looking to follow my passion and pursue a career in game design.

I have a strong interest in developing player-centered game play experiences and experimenting with novel concepts.

As someone who frequently takes on the managerial role in group work, I have a deep interest in effective workflows and rational codebase structure. I never fail to stop to develop an in-engine tool to help me with a project or to create human-friendly (I hate UML) documentation.

My Roles
SoPD Student Ambassador
As a Student Ambassador for the School of Product Design, I organize and give talks to high school students across Canterbury advertising what the university has to offer in terms of Game Design. I also help out with other promotional activity like open day, and running Canterbury Game Jam NEXT (photo above)
PALS Leader
As a PALS leader for UC's PROD121 course (The game development process) I organize weekly peer-study sessions in which students are able to hang out, work together, study for tests and get help with their assignments. This role has been a whole lot of fun and has helped me deepen my passion for teaching.
Blackbird's Sunrise 2022 Speaker
In late 2022, I was invited by Joel Conolly of the Blackbird foundation, to speak at their Sunrise festival in Auckland about my development of Turning Point.
CerebralFix Summer Intern 2023/2024
I worked as an intern in the fantastic Christchurch-based game development studio CerebralFix. I worked in research and development, creating an experimental AR game and learning from the many veteran Game Developers working there.
